Appearance

Qlo’ka are humanoids who descended from their world’s early amphibious life. Averaging around 5 feet in height, they are shorter than Humans. Their bodies are completely devoid of hair. Though they are mostly covered in pale green skin, there is also a ‘stripe’ of color that runs from the top of their ridged heads, over their ‘nose’ (which is nothing more than a single nostril between their reflective eyes), surrounds and encompasses their wide mouth and chin, and continues down the center of the neck and torso. For male Qlo’ka, this ‘stripe’ is a light pink color while on females it is sky blue. Each Qlo’ka has two pairs of cartilaginous ‘fins’ on their head; these protrusions are swept back, with one pair starting just beneath each eye and the second pair from each temple. These ‘fins’ are mostly the same shade of pale green as the rest of the skin, with gender specific accent coloring. Qlo’ka have some vestigial webbing between fingers 4, 5, and 6. They retain toe webbing.

Other than the coloration of the ‘stripe’ and ‘fins’, there are few obvious physical differences between the two Qlo’ka genders.
