The USS Ottawa is a member of Task Group Paladin.
Consortium Involvement
The USS Ottawa was one of the first vessels to be overtaken by The Consortium following The Event. Coordinating with Consortium agents aboard Starbase Unity, the Ottawa engaged the installation just after Unity's shields failed. It was disabled by the sudden arrival of the USS O'Carroll. The Consortium agents aboard did attempt to scuttle the vessel, though the attempt failed when several crewmembers caught on to the Consortium's ruse and captured the agents.
Command of the vessel was turned over to Commander Thomas Adams and the ship was repaired. It was later destroyed with all hands during the Battle of Starbase Unity.
