The Geisler Nebula, also known as the Time Warp Nebula, was located less than a light-year from Alpha Trios. Due to its Mutara-class properties, the USS Black Hawk-A used this nebula as a temporary refuge while analyzing information it had collected.
Detailed Information
The Geisler Nebula features many Mutara-like qualities, such as thick particle density which made shield emission difficult and rendered sensor arrays useless. In addition, the nebula sported various gravimetric distortions and free-roaming quantum filaments. Five of these filaments struck the Black Hawk in quick succession, with the final three lodging themselves in the antimatter pods and having their quantum states altered in a way that transported three-quarters of the crew throughout the space-time continuum. These filaments were later bombarded with nucleonic particles to reverse the process and bring the crew home (Mission 15 - Fractured).
