The bridge module was destroyed, killing Captain Edwards and the bulk of the Consortium agents aboard. Consortium Involvement
Captain Marlenda Edwards, having been inducted into the Consortium in late 2387, remained quiet until The Event took place in May 2388. She'd slowly converted all of her senior staff into fellow agents, leaving it extremely easy for her ship to switch sides.
