Deep Space 11 was the official space headquarters for Task Force 9 in the Gamma Quadrant. Though small, DS11 was able to service most of the starships assigned to the Task Force.
The station was damaged beyond repair during the Consortium Crisis and was decommissioned. DS11 still orbits New Bajor, and is slowly being dismantled for scrap.
