Captain Kylar Furell is the Commanding Officer of the USS Cochrane operating within Task Force 9.
Kylar followed Captain Vaanika Suresh into the Hadyn Nebula to retrieve a Romulan Valdore. Lieutenant Cooper of the USS Black Hawk boarded the USS Cochrane and managed to disable the ship. Captured, Captain Kylar Furell was secured in the Black Hawk's brig. When the Black Hawk lost power, he escaped with Major Jackson and concocted a plot to kill Captain Harvey Geisler. Major Jackson betrayed Kylar, killing him in a single phaser blast.
