A race of bioluminescent humanoid aliens who have large resonating chambers at the top of their heads, which they use both to hear and speak. They generally cannot do both at the same time. Their home-world, Svarog, is a frozen wasteland of ice and snow, and plants will only grow in a thin temperate region around the equator. Their emotions are reflected in the hue of their blood shining through their skin. Because of this, the Selubassari will wear thick clothing and gloves to mask their emotions while in professional situations.

The Selubassari have a trading post aboard Deep Space 15 and have heavy influence with one of the Steadings.
