It's time to give the new ship a proper shakedown... during a classic milk run.
Summary
Undercrewed and overpowered, the USS Black Hawk-B has been given its first assignment: escort a convoy to the ravaged colony on Gavara IV. The assignment was not well received by the crew of the Black Hawk, especially Captain Geisler and the small portion of the crew that had come over with him from the previous ship.
For more than 400 other souls, the mission felt like the perfect shakedown. And shakedown they did, all throughout the five-day journey to the Gavara system.
