As the Black Hawk leaves the nebula, Lieutenant Frex meets with the engineering crew to discuss repairs to the Flight Deck. As repairs begin, it is determined that the 325th Fighter Squadron needs to be temporarily moved to the USS Endurance as its shuttlebay so that effective and speedy repairs can be made to the 'Hawk. The Black Hawk remains in orbit of New Risa for a week as repairs get underway. Meanwhile, the clones of Captain Harvey Geisler and Lt. Commander Joey Geisler begin to plot their next steps, deciding to quietly transfer their flag to Gavara IV and send the Black Hawk off on a path to its destruction. | As the Black Hawk leaves the nebula, Lieutenant Ranul Frex meets with the engineering crew to discuss repairs to the Flight Deck.
To this end, Harvey and Commander John Reynolds meet to review the Black Hawk’s repair progress and discuss the ship’s future. While Reynolds reports slow but steady progress, Harvey reveals he is considering leaving starship command for a more stationary post, citing the strain of balancing duty with family life. The two men reflect on their different career paths, exchanging thoughts on command, sacrifice, and the uncertainty of the future. Their candid conversation ends with Harvey preparing to inform Starfleet of his intent while Reynolds reaffirms his place as second-in-command, at least for now.
As he starts to clean things up and organize his departure, Harvey grows concerned when he realized that Lieutenant Zayna Ryler failed to submit her analysis of the mysterious vessel that ambushed them, prompting him to visit her lab. There, he finds her buried in data, producing an exhaustive but unfinished report that highlights unusual strengths of the enemy ship. While Harvey praises her work, he subtly pressures her to keep pushing for weaknesses, leaving Ryler overworked but determined to extract every possible detail.
This plan is turned on its head when the Runabout Conchos (Flotsam) suddenly returns with Lt. Commander Camila Di Pasquale and her undercover team. Alongside her is Emily Carter, a familiar yet unrecognized face to Commodore Geisler, whose demeanor and memory raise concerns. During a tense debriefing in the Ready Room with Executive Officer John Reynolds present, Camila presents critical intelligence: the location of G90B, a birythium refinery, and the arrival of an alternate-universe version of D’rimo, who killed Emily’s father and assumed control of Mellon. While Camila pushes for immediate action, Geisler appears hesitant and oddly disconnected, prompting suspicions from his crew. Ultimately, he agrees to mobilize reinforcements and orders Camila to prepare an attack plan within three hours, setting the stage for a decisive operation. As the team disperses, the tension lingers, particularly around Harvey's strange behavior and the unresolved recognition between him and Emily. | This plan is turned on its head when the Runabout Conchos (Flotsam) suddenly returns with Lt. The faux Harvey prepares for a high-stakes communication with Admiral O'Connell at Gamma Command, fully aware of the tightrope he’s walking as an infiltrator in Starfleet. Lacking some of Geisler’s personal habits and command protocols, the clone struggles to convincingly play his role, but manages to initiate a secure channel using the appropriate authorization code. During the conversation, he relays a filtered version the intelligence gathered by Di Pasquale about G90B's birythium refinery and Mellon’s occupation by enemy forces, recommending a swift attack while the target is exposed, all the while not mentioning anything about the Confederation. Despite initial skepticism, the Admiral, pressured by his intelligence chief and the urgency of the threat, commits not only to supporting the strike but also to redeploying the majority of Task Group Sentinel. This development dramatically escalates the situation, increasing the likelihood of Starfleet success but also deepening the clone’s dilemma, as any major victory by Starfleet could undermine the Confederation’s infiltration efforts. The clone is left to wrestle with how quickly events are spiraling and the increasing stakes of the covert mission. | The faux Harvey prepares for a high-stakes communication with Admiral O'Connell at Gamma Command, fully aware of the tightrope he’s walking as an infiltrator in Starfleet. Elsewhere, the clone of Joey Geisler contacts D’rimo on a secure line. She warns him that a small group of Starfleet crew members knows too much about their plans and proposes sacrificing what the Federation currently calls G90B to protect their mission. D’rimo resists, stressing their limited numbers and urging caution, but agrees that weakening Starfleet’s presence in the Gamma Quadrant could be advantageous. They decide Joey should remain quiet, gather intelligence, and sabotage only if necessary. After the call ends, Joey steels herself to maintain her cover while navigating the growing complications in their scheme.
Emily Carter, disoriented by the ship’s unfamiliar new design and burdened by her past betrayal of its captain, is escorted under security watch to Master Chief Mila Rasputin, Harvey’s current yeoman. Mila confronts her bluntly about her past but listens when Emily insists that Harvey is no longer acting like himself. Emily recalls past moments that showed Harvey’s sense of honor and compassion, contrasting it with his recent coldness and hesitation to act against threats. Mila, skeptical but unsettled, agrees to keep watch on Harvey and consult with Commander Walsh, whom Emily had met aboard the ship in 2388, for perspective. Though Emily remains under suspicion, her warning plants seeds of doubt that Mila cannot ignore.
That afternoon, in the Black Hawk’s largest holodeck, Commodore Harvey Geisler convenes senior officers and visiting starship captains for a strategic briefing on confronting the G90B. In his introduction, Harvey purposely withholds G90B's true identity, and it is not called out or noticed by those crew members or imposters in the know. Lieutenant Commander Pasquale outlines a bold, three-pronged strike plan involving multiple ships, advance scouts, and modified tricobalt devices to destroy or capture the target. The proposal sparks debate, with concerns raised over the risks, reliability of scans, and the dangers of tricobalt use, but also draws technical offers of assistance from engineers and captains. Final preparations include ship repairs and coordination with reinforcements, with a departure scheduled for 2200 hours. As the meeting ends, the captains and crew readies themselves for a high-stakes, coordinated assault.
Camila oversees the transfer of three tricobalt warheads to Engineering, ensuring maximum security as they prepare for modifications against the G90B threat. Working with Ranul, Ryler, and Joey, the team relocates the weapons to a secure lab where each officer takes on a critical role in configuring their systems. Joey integrates advanced sensor-scrambling protocols to mask detonations, while Ranul synchronizes the quantum timers with field decay data to ensure precise activation. Ryler fine-tunes destabilizers, and together the team carefully calibrates the warheads to avoid premature detonation. Once complete, Camila distributes the modified tricobalts across three ships, confident that their plan will give Starfleet a decisive edge.
Joey and Camila then interrogate one of the captured Karemma, hoping to gather intelligence on D’Rimo and his plans. The prisoner initially refuses to cooperate, dismissing their threats and boasting about Starfleet’s losses and the colonies swayed against them. Joey uses an intelligence device to mimic his voice, rattling him with the possibility of being used to deceive his leader. Though he admits to being only a low-ranking grunt, his anger and defensive responses reveal hints about the Karemma’s hostility toward both Starfleet and the Founders. Ultimately, Camila and Joey gain little concrete intelligence, but they leave with the confirmation that their deception tools are effective and that the Karemma view the Founders as enemies.
Late that night, Commodore Geisler leads Task Group Belvedere’s final preparations as the ships depart New Risa en route to Waypoint Alpha. Tension holds thick among the senior staff. Each department reports readiness, though unease about the unknown threat at G90B lingers beneath their professionalism. Di Pasquale confirms the tricobalt warheads are primed across the task group, offering a slim but vital hope against their adversary. Harvey assigns senior officers to gamma and delta shifts during the long journey, ensuring constant vigilance as they near danger. As the Black Hawk slips into warp alongside its companions, anticipation and apprehension settle over the crew, uncertain whether triumph or disaster awaits.
The next morning, the Starfleet squadron engages the elusive G90B vessel in a dense asteroid field, suffering heavy losses as G90B reveals itself through a deadly ambush. Two tricobalt devices mysteriously fail, the result of covert sabotage by Joey, who carefully manipulates data to avoid suspicion. Despite her best efforts, the sabotage has an unintended side effect as their delayed detonation cause the G90B vessels to become vulnerable to traditional weapons and sensors. A second G90B vessel (a cruiser) and two Hunter vessels appear and attack the Black Hawk. A third, untouched tricobalt weapon is launched by Captain Holmes and successfully destroys this new G90B cruiser, confirming Joey’s tampering and raising stakes for her exposure. As the battle continues, Starfleet finally disables the remaining G90B dreadnought and its escorts, but at the cost of multiple ships and many lives. With the enemy defeated for now, tensions simmer aboard the Black Hawk as suspicions rise and the crew begins investigating the sabotage.
Security Chief Di Pasquale rushes to the armory to investigate a suspected sabotage involving the last remaining altered tricobalt warhead, working closely with Lieutenant Shay Mitchell and other personnel. After reviewing who had access to the device, Shay detains Camila and others for protocol’s sake, despite her trust in Camila. Cyberdivision officers later uncover deliberate programming sabotage pointing to Lieutenant Frex, clearing Camila and the others of suspicion. Camila is released and resumes her duties, coordinating with Mitchell to bring in additional experts for Frex’s interrogation. As the investigation deepens, the team grapples with the betrayal and the implications of Frex’s actions.
Counselor T'Mari Rael is summoned by di Pasquale and Mitchell to assist in preparing Lieutenant Frex's interrogation. They are joined by Bynar Ensigns Jack and Jill, who are tasked with analyzing the tricobalt's code for tampering. Upon arrival at Security, di Pasquale instructs T'Mari to evaluate Frex’s mental state during questioning using both her empathic abilities and a tricorder. Jack and Jill are sent to investigate the sabotage from a technical standpoint, while Mitchell is asked to observe the interrogation closely. T'Mari notes sensing unusual emotions from other crewmembers recently, but the focus remains firmly on uncovering the truth behind Frex's potential sabotage.
Two junior security officers, Shep Hollingsworth and Sunni Wallace, reluctantly make their way to Main Engineering, where Frex is working and is blindsided when they arrive to place him under arrest. Shocked and confused, Frex insists he’s done nothing wrong, but the officers remain professional, reading him his rights and escorting him through the corridors under the judgmental stares of his crewmates. Once confined in the brig, Frex surrenders his combadge and endures a search, maintaining his innocence and confusion as he waits for interrogation and an explanation of why he’s being accused of sabotage.
Clone Joey, newly released from the brig and terrified of exposure, meets with her clone husband to discuss a desperate plan: either flee with the twins or eliminate those who might expose them -- especially Camila. They weigh violent options (framing or killing Chief Engineer Frex or sabotaging ship systems), but worry about leaving forensic trails and endangering the children. Ultimately they decide to create controlled chaos (setting off explosions/scuttling the ship as a distraction) so they can slip away amid the confusion. As chaos builds, Harvey manipulates fleet movements and submits a falsified mission report to distract command and buy time. With suspicion growing and evidence close to being discovered, Harvey makes a final move to escalate confusion aboard the ship, hoping it will be enough to cover their escape before everything unravels.
Two Bynar technicians, Jack and Jill, complete a full survey of the remaining tricobalt device that was modified to use against G90B. Their forensic analysis uncovers a hidden subroutine labeled “Echo-Delta-7,” inserted through a restricted maintenance port and masked by advanced encryption. Although the data initially implicates Chief Engineer Frex, deeper examination reveals the access was forged and routed through the Intelligence Suite’s systems. The digital trail points instead to Geisler, the ship’s Chief of Intelligence, whose terminal had been used to plant the false evidence. The Bynars compile and transmit their findings, concluding that the sabotage was a deliberate act of misdirection rather than an engineering failure.
During the Bynar's process, the security team questions Lieutenant Frex while struggling to believe one of their own could be responsible. Frex insists he is innocent, explaining that multiple officers, including those in intelligence, handled the data that went into the devices. Before the investigators can continue, the ship suddenly goes to red alert as explosions and hull breaches rock multiple decks. Amid the chaos, the officers scramble to respond, sealing bulkheads and moving to secure key areas. Despite Frex’s status as a suspect, he is released from restraints so he can help defend the ship, as the crew unites against the unexpected crisis.

In a dark, decaying prison cell, the real Joey Geisler struggles to endure the physical and psychological toll of long-term captivity. Surrounded by filth, malfunctioning equipment, and fading hope, her solitude is suddenly broken when two Karemma guards unceremoniously deposit another prisoner into her cell. The figure, bruised, drugged, and barely conscious, turns out to be none other than her husband Harvey Geisler. Joey, herself weak and injured from previous escape attempts, pushes through her pain to help stabilize him, moving him off the cold floor and onto a dilapidated cot. The realization that Harvey is alive—-however barely—-galvanizes her resolve, though the grim conditions and uncertainty of their fate remain ever-present. The reunion is quiet and painful, but in that moment, it offers a flicker of purpose and fragile hope. | In a dark, decaying prison cell, the real Joey Geisler struggles to endure the physical and psychological toll of long-term captivity. Harvey soon awakens, absolutely disoriented, injured, and reeling from betrayal by the imposter claiming to be his wife. As he struggles to regain control of his body and mind, he discovers Joey lying beside him, badly burned but alive, and is overwhelmed by fear, confusion, and disbelief. Through painful dialogue and shared memories, especially the birth of their twins, Joey slowly convinces Harvey of her true identity, revealing she was abducted and replaced by a clone during the recent [[Return to Razmena ( | Harvey soon awakens, absolutely disoriented, injured, and reeling from betrayal by the imposter claiming to be his wife. As he struggles to regain control of his body and mind, he discovers Joey lying beside him, badly burned but alive, and is overwhelmed by fear, confusion, and disbelief. Through painful dialogue and shared memories, especially the birth of their twins, Joey slowly convinces Harvey of her true identity, revealing she was abducted and replaced by a clone during the recent mission to Razmena. The two piece together fragments of memory, concluding they are prisoners aboard a decaying, repurposed vessel used by unknown captors for memory extraction and manipulation. Reunited in truth and purpose, Harvey and Joey resolve to survive and return to their children, determined to reclaim their lives from the imposters left behind.
Soon, they are removed from the cell and moved to a different room where Joey endures psychological and physical torture at the hands of a masked interrogator who directs questions at Harvey. The interrogator reveals themselves to be a Selamat from another universe. Despite intense pain and threats, particularly targeted at Joey, they remain defiant and refuse to divulge sensitive information about their interdimensional journey and survival. The Selamat, frustrated by their resilience, escalates his tactics, focusing on extracting data about how the pair crossed universes via a rift in the Hadyn Nebula. As the interrogator departs, the couple is left battered but unbroken. Joey begins to formulate a plan to escape.
She spots a loose grate that might lead to freedom. Joey painfully dislocates her thumb to escape her restraints, frees Harvey, and the two slip into the crawlspace, determined to find safety despite her injuries. They climb through the ducts to a storage compartment, in hopes to find temporary safety and repair Joey's thumb. As Harvey searches for some useful supplies, Joey discovers the body of a Starfleet officer and the horrifying truth that they are on the destroyed Starbase Unity. Before they can plan their next move, enemy forces ambush them, dragging them back toward captivity under armed threat. Their fleeting hope of escape is crushed, but Harvey’s defiance hints they are not ready to give up.
Harvey and Joey later awaken in a new, more advanced prison cell, unsure why they’ve been moved from their previous location. They are soon confronted by D’rimo, who reveals a plan to open an interdimensional rift using stolen tricobalts and the destroyed USS Gaittithe while inside the Hadyn nebula where the Black Hawk first crossed over two years prior. However, his demonstration fails when the rift does not form, revealing a critical flaw in his understanding of the original portal's creation. Harvey and Joey, despite their injuries and restraints, remain defiant, hinting that D’rimo lacks the key components—namely, a Romulan warbird and thalaron radiation. As tensions rise, D’rimo resorts to violence and orders further interrogation, while cracks begin to show in his authority. The passage ends with a foreboding message from his crew, suggesting that his plans are beginning to unravel.
After returning to their holding cell, Joey and Harvey sit bruised and emotionally raw, grappling with the loss of her life and children but clinging to a fragile hope. They quietly plan an escape, aiming for one of the few functional escape pods and the weapons they spotted—while reckoning with D’rimo’s desperation and the danger posed by his telepathic Selamat. Their strategy hinges on using amplified emotional “noise” to mask their intentions from the Selamat, overpowering the guards, and seizing a sudden opportunity. As they steel themselves to act, guards arrive to escort them to interrogation, forcing the plan into motion.
Their opportunity arises during an interrogation session with the Selamat. Despite her pain and restraints, Joey quietly maneuvers herself free and uses the torment inflicted on Harvey as a distraction to launch a surprise counterattack. Together they kill and incapacitate their captors, seize weapons, and prepare to force their way out of the cell. As they ready for escape, the tension peaks—they know that once the door opens, they’re committed to a fight for survival. Moments later, they cautiously emerge from their cell into a silent, alien ship. They discover a control center and use it to piece together their location, realizing their captor plans to detonate a tricobalt device in the Bajoran Wormhole. Knowing they must escape and warn others, they move toward the escape pods, stealthily taking down two guards with nonlethal force. Working together, they rig disruptors to overload, creating explosions that will mask their escape and make it seem as though they perished in the blast. As the detonations rock the ship, they launch their pod and drift into space, finally free.
==Coming Back Together==
The USS Endurance intercepts a faint distress signal that leads them to an escape pod containing the real Harvey and Joey Geisler. Aboard the Endurance, Captain Graham Holmes, once a rival of Harvey’s, struggles to believe their story, suspecting them of being shapeshifters or imposters until Joey’s broken, traumatized state and a Betazoid medic’s confirmation prove their authenticity. Harvey warns that the Confederation plans to detonate tricobalt devices inside the Bajoran Wormhole to open an interdimensional gateway, prompting Holmes to contact Admiral O’Connell. Though skeptical, the admiral orders Holmes to stop the Black Hawk and places Holmes temporarily in charge of the task group. As Harvey prepares to assist despite his injuries, Joey is moved to the trauma ward, where the medical team fights to stabilize her body and mind after weeks of brutal captivity, while she clings to consciousness and the hope of survival.
Meanwhile, the USS Black Hawk is thrown into chaos when explosions, fires, and holographic illusions spread throughout the ship, causing confusion between real and simulated damage. The Clone Harvey Geisler orders an evacuation to cover his escape, while Security Chief Di Pasquale and her team race to shut down the sabotaged holoemitters. Meanwhile, the cloned Joey Geisler seizes the chance to flee with her doppleganger's children, violently turning on her real-life cousin in the process. Commander Reynolds soon takes command of the situation and attempts to bring order to the chaos, but not before the real Harvey arrives aboard the USS Endurance. Reynolds orders both Geislers aboard the Black Hawk to be apprehended, and Harvey agrees to remand himself and the real Joey to the Black Hawk to sort the mess out.
Camila bursts into action, already having discovered evidence of deception before confronting Clone Joey on the chaotic flight deck, where Joey stands with her terrified twins and loyal dogs. Accusing Joey of sabotaging the tricobalts, Camila holds her at phaser-point, forcing a tense standoff that ends when Joey surrenders to protect her children. But when Harvey arrives, pretending ignorance while secretly part of the ruse, the situation explodes. Joey exposes him, Emily Carter mysteriously arrives and intervenes, and Camila stuns all three to regain control. As security officers rush to detain them, the hangar doors close and chaos reigns. Camila orders their immediate transport to the Brig, determined to find out who’s truly behind the sabotage and why.
The real Joey Geisler is transported to the Black Hawk’s sickbay, physically healed but emotionally shattered after three harrowing weeks of captivity and torture. In the brig, the clones of Harvey, Joey, and Emily Carter awaken and exchange barbed words, revealing tension and confusion over their failed mission and imprisonment. The real Harvey is brought into the brig and confronts his clone counterparts, explaining to Di Pasquale and Holmes that he and Joey were replaced by impostors working for the Karemma leader D’rimo, who plans to reopen an interdimensional rift. As Harvey recounts his captivity and the enemy’s intentions, Camila Di Pasquale tests both Harveys to confirm which one is genuine, ultimately identifying and freeing the real Commodore. With their identities verified, Harvey, Camila, Holmes, and Emily resolve to stop D’rimo before he can unleash destruction through the wormhole.

A week has passed since the Black Hawk lost G90B in the Nebula. The ship, now in orbit of New Risa, is finishing repairs to its damaged flight deck. In close proximity is the USS Endurance, which has been acting as a temporary home for the squadron. What no one expected was the sudden return of Lt. Commander Di Pasquale with quadrant-shattering news: the true identity of G90B.
Unbeknownst to all, both Commodore and Lt. Commander Geisler have been replaced by clones whose true purpose remains to be enacted. Can they keep the news from reaching Gamma Command? What mayhem do the clones have in store for the Black Hawk and the Task Group? Will the crew of the Black Hawk ever figure out the truth?
And, will the real Harvey and Joey survive captivity, or will they sacrifice every bit of the uniform they love for just one more day together?
Summary
Black Hawk
As the Black Hawk leaves the nebula, Lieutenant Ranul Frex meets with the engineering crew to discuss repairs to the Flight Deck.
Down in the Intelligence Office, Ensign Ronin Tetanal reports back to his supervisor, Intelligence Chief Geisler, bringing with him critical data—including a PADD and a tricorder filled with scans and surveillance—regarding The Confederation and their leader. He recounts a disturbing event in which D’Rimo publicly executed Richard Carter and assumed control of Mellon, with Richard’s daughter Emily escaping alongside the team. Joey, though visibly disturbed and angered by the implications of the mission, maintains her composure and prepares to escalate matters up the chain of command. She orders Ronin to take the day off to decompress, despite his willingness to continue working. As Ronin leaves, Joey begins to prepare for the next step—preserving their cover and briefing Commodore Geisler, knowing the stakes have now escalated significantly.
In a private and tense meeting, the impostor versions of Joey and Harvey Geisler discuss the unraveling situation aboard the Black Hawk. Joey proposes misleading Di Pasquale with false intel or framing expendable crew, but Harvey rejects it in favor of keeping the Chief of Security close. They agree to move forward with Camila’s strike plan as a calculated trap, using the refinery as bait to weaken Starfleet further. As they weigh risks and plan contingencies, including contact with D’rimo and further infiltration, both agents reflect on maintaining their charade, down to mimicking Harvey's coffee habits. With tensions mounting and deception deepening, they reaffirm their mission: destabilize the quadrant from within while hiding in plain sight.
Geislers in Captivity
Coming Back Together
