USS BLACK HAWK TIMELINE
Before 2387238723882389239023912390s2401

Events

January

Stardate 67012.7
The USS Black Hawk-A is declared spaceworthy once again and is dispatched on a shakedown cruise.
Stardate 67015.1
The USS Black Hawk, en route to conduct training exercises, drops out of warp in the middle on an undetected ion storm. The ship suffers minor damage, including a handful of computer malfunctions (Mission 19: Sentience).
Stardate 67023.1
The USS Black Hawk arrives at a nebula to test its uprated sensor palettes and discovers a metallic structure within. The structure is soon revealed to be the USS Shran, a Saber-class vessel declared MIA during the Consortium Crisis. An investigation confirms the ship indeed fell to a mutiny, and that pirates had been secretly scrapping the ship ever since (Mission 20: Ghosts).
Stardate 67031.5
The USS Black Hawk returns to Gamma Command for repair.

March

Stardate 67168.0
The Black Hawk receives orders to report to Task Group Belvedere for assignment. The Task Group is charged with patrolling eastern sectors, providing rapid response to Gamma Command assets, and to seek out pirate havens.
Stardate 67201.0
Captain Harvey Geisler assumes command of Task Group Belvedere.

April

Stardate 67260.7
Three weeks into their assignment, the Black Hawk begins to patrol the Argatha sector. During their patrol, faint quantum filaments begin to wreak havoc on the ship's internal systems and structure.
Stardate 67258.4
The Black Hawk discovers a binary star system containing an M-class world with an extinct civilization (Mission 21: Extinction).
Stardate 67263.7
The Black Hawk discovers the cause for the civilization's demise. Near the end of the investigation, an incident amplifies the damage done by the quantum filaments and disables the ship's warp drive. The Black Hawk is towed to Gamma Command.

May

Stardate 67344.6
Gamma Command's yard engineers determine that they are not equipped to repair the extensive damage to the Black Hawk. The ship is decommissioned and shipped to the Alpha Quadrant. Captain Geisler is reassigned to command an Akira-class starship, which is rechristened as the USS Black Hawk-B.

June

Stardate 67415.9
The Black Hawk-B launches from Gamma Command and is assigned to guard a Clemda Merchant Association Convoy bound for Gavara IV (Mission 22: Milk Run).
Stardate 67426.0
The convoy arrives at Gavara IV and is quickly attacked by pirates. The Black Hawk is able to defend the convoy, even though a small amount of medical supplies were stolen.
Stardate 67450.7
The USS Saratoga relieves the USS Black Hawk at Gavara, allowing Geisler and crew to continue their mission (Mission 23: Return to Razmena).
Stardate 67455.7
Two away teams from the Black Hawk arrive at the independent space station Razmena in hopes to gain information about current pirate activity. Meanwhile, the Black Hawk conducts shakedown trials.
Stardate 67458.5
The Black Hawk arrives at the rendezvous with the USS Gaittithe, only to find it severely damaged. The wreckage is littered with survivors and pirates, leaving the Black Hawk to recover the wounded and shoo away the remaining pirates.
Stardate 67463.4
The Black Hawk responds to a distress call from Starbase Unity, only to find it completely destroyed. Elements from Task Group Belvedere arrive to assist with Search and Rescue. Harvey Geisler is granted a battlefield promotion to Commodore. Two days later, the Black Hawk reunited with all of Belvedere and conducts a briefing on recent events (Mission 24: Shattered Unity).
Stardate 67494.4
While overseeing the deployment of sensor buoys along the new front line, Commodore Geisler launches a convoy mission to lure out the elusive threat now known as G90B. The plan succeeds when G90B ambushes the USS Valcour, leading to a pursuit into a dangerous nebula where the Black Hawk uncovers key intelligence but ultimately fails to capture the enemy after a surprise escape disables the ship. Forced to withdraw for repairs, the crew is left to regroup as G90B once again slips into the shadows along with a new captive, Commodore Geisler (Mission 25: Bait and Switch).
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Commander Di Pasquale, posing as Francisca Massara, leads an undercover team aboard the Runabout Flotsam to investigate G90B through pirate and civilian channels. After a mission to a mining colony goes awry, they are ambushed by D’rimo—an alternate-universe visitor who reveals G90B as The Confederation, a Karemma-Dosi alliance. Captured and forced to assist in birythium transport, the team stages a daring escape at an asteroid base, sabotaging the enemy ship and fleeing amid the chaos (Mission 26: Cover of Darkness).

July

Stardate 67514.5
As the USS Black Hawk undergoes repairs near New Risa, Lieutenant Commander Di Pasquale returns from an undercover mission which reveals the identity of G90B/The Confederation to Commodore Geisler, whom Di Pasquale does not realize is a clone. The Clones' hands are forced, leading to a risky, tricobalt-based strike that escalates into a devastating battle marked by sabotage, heavy losses, and rising suspicion among the crew. Investigations into the failed weapons briefly implicate Chief Engineer Ranul Frex, but deeper analysis reveals deliberate misdirection tied to the Intelligence Suite. As chaos mounts through staged emergencies and internal betrayal, the clones attempt to engineer their escape, even as evidence of infiltration begins to surface and command stability aboard the Black Hawk fractures.
In parallel, the real Harvey and Joey Geisler endure brutal captivity, reunite in prison, and ultimately escape, uncovering D’rimo’s plan to detonate tricobalts in the Bajoran Wormhole to reopen an interdimensional rift. Rescued by the USS Endurance, they race to expose the impostors and stop the looming catastrophe, leading to a dramatic confrontation aboard the Black Hawk;; that confirms the clones’ identities and reunites the family. A final, costly fleet engagement destroys the tricobalt threat and ends D’rimo’s plot, but leaves Starfleet battered and grieving.
Stardate 67518.6
Commodore Harvey Geisler officially regains command of the Black Hawk, yet faces intense scrutiny from Gamma Command, retaining the ship only under strict conditions. The vessel is temporarily reassigned to the Logistics division as a cargo hauler between Gamma Command and Gavara IV.
Stardate 67529.6
Crew reassignments begin and the Black Hawk begins to turnover various members of its crew.

September

Stardate 67674.8
The Dominion forces territorial lines to be redrawn when it reclaims the Unity Asteroid Field, former home of Starbase Unity. This act represents the first "loss of ground" the Federation has experienced in the Gamma Quadrant since the end of the Dominion War.
Stardate 67696.7
Situations in the Alpha Quadrant require Gamma Command to give up additional starships, but not personnel. Starfleet Command makes it clear to Admiral O'Connell that isolationists within the Federation are focusing on the homefront first, and all other initiatives are secondary.
