Usage
USS Black Hawk-B
The USS Kwando was one of two Danube-Class Runabouts assigned to the USS Black Hawk-B. Since her assignment in 2390, the Kwando flew on at least 2 missions.
Maiden Voyage
For her first mission under the command of Commander John Reynolds, the Kwando was modified to appear as a cargo hauler. The Danube's configuration is well known in the Gamma Quadrant, and given that Starfleet has been slowly deactivating and decommissioning the class, it is starting to become common enough to see civilians operating these utility vessels. The Kwando, under the name Jetsam, docked at space station Razmena in order to seek information related to pirate activity. Their investigation led to a "job" as pirates, which in turn reunited the Kwando team with the Black Hawk as they salvaged the USS Gaittithe.
During the salvage efforts, Lieutenant Commander Di Pasquale commanded the Kwando alone and transported salvaged probes to a Rakhari colony. She then rendezvoused with the Black Hawk at Starbase Unity and participated in search and rescue efforts.
