Aside from the evasion of Vice Admiral Adislo, she was largely successful. She immediately assumed command of both the Task Force and Deep Space 11, promoting herself to Commodore in the process.

When that failed, she consolidated all her forces to guard both DS11 and the Bajoran wormhole. The Consortium fought hard for both locations, only to fail completely. Terlexa ordered New Bajor to burn, and many ships had razed the planet in the hours before the battle. Commodore Terlexa herself escaped during the heat of the battle. No one was able to pursue, and no one has heard from her since.
