			Upon arriving at Epsilon Indi, the ''Valiant'' detects no visible danger, but sensors reveal a failing underground experiment involving quantum singularities that threatens the planet’s stability. EDEN reports rapidly worsening gravimetric distortions and warns that evacuation may not be completed in time due to transporter interference. After contacting the colony, Captain sh'Zamhlass learns their emergency muster points are unusable, prompting EDEN to propose alternative evacuation sites with better structural integrity and transporter viability. Acting quickly, Piraa deploys search-and-rescue teams and an away team to stabilize the situation and guide civilians to safer locations while coordinating evacuation efforts. Tensions rise when the colony administrator resists cooperation and questions Starfleet’s capabilities, leaving Piraa uneasy as the crisis continues to escalate.

			But as the Valiant drops out of warp, the crew realizes the simulation has been overtaken by a real crisis. Can EDEN handle its first true test? And, more importantly, can the crew of the Valiant survive to warn the Federation that a dark power has shown its wings?
